# AccessLens 3D — Application Assistant (local prototype)

Run `python3 -m pip install pypdf python-docx`, then set `JSEARCH_API_KEY` and `python3 server.py`. Open http://127.0.0.1:8780/jobs.html.

Click **Prepare application** on a job card. Upload a resume or paste at least 50 characters of source material first. A source-preserving draft works without OpenAI. To enable optional AI tailoring, set `OPENAI_API_KEY` in the server environment. With AI enabled, the candidate source text and selected job description are transmitted to OpenAI. Review all generated claims; no submission occurs.

The application panel supports editing, screening-question suggestions, and DOCX export. It does not autofill employer websites, submit applications, or automatically confirm application status. The prototype is localhost-only and has no authentication or production privacy/security guarantees.
