# AccessLens 3D.1 — Prepare application UI fix

The application editor now opens above job results rather than below all cards. The clicked button displays Preparing... while the request is running, and the editor immediately shows a validation message when the career summary is missing or shorter than 50 characters. The selected job and backend behavior remain unchanged.

Start: `python3 -m pip install pypdf python-docx`; export JSEARCH_API_KEY (and optionally OPENAI_API_KEY); `python3 server.py`. Open http://127.0.0.1:8780/jobs.html and hard refresh.

To test: Enter at least 50 characters in Career summary or upload a resume; find jobs; click Prepare application. The editor should appear above Matching opportunities, display Preparing..., then a draft or a specific error. No automatic applications are submitted.
