# AccessLens 5G — confirmed candidate-profile transport defect

**Root cause found in the supplied 5F archive:** `agent_service.start()` calls `safe_profile(profile)` before launching the worker. In 5F, `safe_profile()` **discarded** both `country` and `phone_country_code`. The dropdown worker therefore received empty approved values even though the candidate profile UI showed India and +91. `form_completion._country()` also ignored the dedicated approved country field and inspected only `location` (e.g. Bengaluru).

5G fixes both defects and includes a regression test exercising the same profile sanitization path. This is a verified local unit-level fix, **not a live-site end-to-end confirmation**. Custom dropdown selection may still need separate work if the site changes its widget.

To run tests: `python3 -m unittest -v test_5g_profile_flow.py`

To run app: `python3 server.py` then `http://127.0.0.1:8780/queue.html?v=5g`.

Close any prior agent browser session, restart server from this folder, confirm candidate profile still shows India and +91, and launch again. Agent never submits applications. If fields still fail, provide agent review log; no need to share personal details.
